C.G.M. s.n.c. was founded in 1977. The company continues as manufacturer of precision components for the automotive and industrial automation marketsworking.
C.G.M. s.n.c. was founded in 1977 as a producer of machines for salami producers. This sector requires a sales network, which at the time, the founders believed infeasible. They therefore decided shortly afterwards to move into machining and hydraulic equipment for third parties.
The small business chose the most prestigious and qualified customers, gaining market share thanks to the quality of their products. In 1998 it received ISO 9002 certification and, in 2001, the VISION 2000 from RINA. Since 2009 it has also been certified to ISO TS 16949 standard in the automotive sector.
The company had by now launched itself into the
automotive
sector, making numerous investments in machinery, measuring instruments, and resources to meet customer needs.
Since 2003, C.G.M. s.n.c. has been providing logistics and assembly operations while the new CGM s.r.l. continues as manufacturer of precision components for the automotive and industrial automation marketsworking in a space of 4000 square metres with 40 employees.
